At the Queen Mary Hotel, we believe that today's luxury goes hand in hand with responsibility. That's why we have revised our purchasing policy to favour suppliers offering ethical, sustainable and local products, while maintaining the quality standards expected of a 4-star establishment:

 

• Local and seasonal sourcing

In catering and everyday products, we favour local suppliers, short supply chains and seasonal produce to support the regional economy and reduce our carbon footprint.

Verger de Cuvilly: Mr Vecten's farm, located in the Oise region less than 100 kilometres from Paris, supplies us with delicious 100% organic and artisanal apple and pear juices, much to the delight of our guests!

 

• Eco-friendly products

We select labelled or certified products (organic, eco-label, fair trade) for cleaning, cosmetics provided in rooms, linen and hotel supplies.

HD Fragrances: Founded in 2009 by perfumer Olivier Decoster, HD Fragrances is now one of France's leading creators and suppliers of hospitality products for luxury and boutique hotels. These products are entirely manufactured in France and Italy, using 100% natural flowers.

 

• Reducing packaging

Our purchasing decisions are designed to limit unnecessary packaging: large packaging formats, recyclable or reusable materials, all choices that contribute to more sustainable resource management.

Biowels: Biowels develops eco-friendly alternatives to plastic cloths and consumables in order to reduce the ecological footprint of the most demanding sectors, without compromising on quality, practicality or performance. Thanks to 100% compostable materials and local French production (based in Normandy), Biowels is committed to supporting the hospitality industry in its transition to a more responsible model.
