Lighting optimisation

At the Queen Mary Hotel, we believe that high-end service can go hand in hand with respect for the environment. That's why we have implemented several measures to optimise lighting throughout the establishment, combining visual comfort, a warm atmosphere and energy savings:
- 100% LED lighting
All our rooms, corridors and common areas are equipped with low-energy LED bulbs, which consume up to 80% less energy than conventional bulbs, while providing soft, pleasant lighting.
- Presence detectors
In areas with low traffic (corridors, stairways, technical rooms), the lighting is operated by motion sensors, which prevents lights from being left on unnecessarily.
- Enhanced natural light
Our spaces have been redesigned to take full advantage of natural light, reducing the need for artificial lighting during the day.
- Card detection
We optimise the lighting in our rooms via a card activation system. When you leave your room, remember to take your card with you so that the lights are automatically turned off in your absence.
These actions are an integral part of our sustainable development approach, without compromising on your comfort!
